Background: Having come from a background of motor bike racing, I competed at International level in trails and enduros having ridden semi-professional for a few years. I gave up racing motor bikes in 1990 but continued running which I had done as part of my endurance training. I went on to run the London Marathon 9 times and upward of 50 half marathons.

I started Mountain Bike racing after tearing my Achilles tendon which stopped me training hard. I have been struggling to make the break through in MBR, so I have recently upped my training to the next level in an effort to be a constant top 20 finisher.

Major results & Achievements:  

2005

Done all the NPS rounds, have not finished last but close to (competition has increased, least that my excuse), 80 th Team Mountain Mayhem.

Looking forward to better results at NPS and SITs.
